CEO
Mail Enterprises
Scott,
CEO of Mail Enterprises, has over 20 years experience in helping
organizations grow using direct marketing. Mail Enterprises provides
customized products and services to maximize donor acquisition and retention
for national, regional and local nonprofits. Their clients include rescue
missions, children’s homes, healthcare organizations, the arts, universities
and many others.
Scott is the author of
Lessons from a Mama’s Boy, a book sharing his mom’s ideas about
success in business and life. He frequently speaks to national groups
including The Direct Marketing Association, Association of Fundraising
Professionals, Nonprofit Federation and Association of Healthcare
Philanthropy. Scott is also a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated
radio program, The Small Business Advocate, and contributes to
Fundraising Success magazine and Journal of the DMA Nonprofit
Federation.
Scott was named
Birmingham’s Top 40 Under 40 in 1996, Small Business Person of the Year in
1999 and to Leadership Birmingham in 2003. He has served as president of the
Birmingham Chapter of the American Marketing Association and on the board of
AFP. He currently serves on the board of The Jimmie Hale Mission and several
other local nonprofits.

Downtown Rescue Mission Huntsville, AL
Working for the Downtown Rescue Mission was an answer to a 4 year prayer to
serve, never imagining God had a greater plan. Cara startes here thrift
store career as an Asst. Manager of the Decatur Bargain Center in July of
2004. She was given the responsibility of Manager in 2006 was promoted to
District Manager in 2007. At that time the Mission in Huntsville had four
Bargain Centers in Huntsville and the surrounding areas. In April 2008 they
opened their fifth Thrift Store in Athens AL. Cara says, “I believe that God
blessing come when we put him first!! When you give Him 100%, He gets all
the Glory!” Cara will share some of her experiences in managing multiple
Thrift Store locations.

Bob Bauer

BMC
Bob Bauer from Lansing Michigan will demonstrate how retailers can get the
most out of their Point of Sale in today’s competitive retail environment.
Bob Bauer began his career with BMC as a Field Engineer in February of 1979.
He has held several positions within the organization including; Field
Engineer, Service Management, Support Management, Account Management,
Vice-President and is currently President. He remains active today in both
sales and technical roles with customers. He is an avid industry supporter
in POS, having served on several boards including; NCR Partner Council,
Storenext Business Council, IBM POS Service Advisory Board and Retail
Solution Providers Association as President. Bob and his team at BMC have
received several awards for their efforts in the Food Industry in Michigan.

Men of Grace were formed in 1999 as the musical ministry of Grace Gospel
Fellowship in Pontiac, Michigan to praise our Lord, Jesus Christ through
song.
Their musical style of gospel-blues emphasizing vocal harmony mixes a blend
